Venetian to open largest Vegas Strip Poker Room in Summer 2024

The 35-table poker room of The Venetian will relocate to the Grand Canal Shoppes on the second level, from the main casino floor near the sportsbook. The determination regarding the utilization of the vacant area is pending. The Venetian’s Director of Poker Operations, Tommy LaRosa, claims it will be a classic no matter what happens.

With regard to the new poker room, it will persist in providing amusement to players through cash games. Additionally, that location will host the DeepStack poker competition series. This will be the first time the shopping plaza at The Venetian has a poker room.

The new poker room is slated to be the biggest on the entire Vegas Strip. It will come with 50 tables and cover an area of 14,000 square feet. The positioning will be on the 2nd floor of the Las Vegas casino.

The renovated poker room will have new chairs, with each seat equipped with USB and USB-C charging connections. On top of that, there will be a streaming room where players can vlog straight from the poker room. There will also be coverage of tournament championship tables and cash games. Televisions will be installed in every location. Sports bettors will be shown the William Hill kiosk, from which they will be able to place their wagers. A kiosk will be set up to display their Venetian Rewards status.

To add to the glory, self-service soda fountains will be placed, along with coffee and the facility to avail of the services of the Grand Lux Cafe on the casino floor. Restrooms, for the convenience of guests, will be provided. The Venetian will come with a self-parking fee; the initial three hours will come with no charges.

According to the poker news, The announcement of Apollo Global Management’s intention to allocate $1 billion towards the enhancement of The Venetian was made shortly after the company acquired its operations in 2021. As part of its ongoing expansion, the Venetian will soon have a poker room.

Apollo implemented a rebranding initiative concerning The Venetian sportsbook in 2023. A high-limit gaming room has also been added to The Palazzo. Venetian Rewards, an upcoming loyalty program, is expected to be implemented shortly. The guests will see new restaurants, bars, and entertainment facilities.
