Shaun Deeb, a five-time WSOP bracelet winner, added one more title to his collection by playing a WSOP event at Turning Stone Resort Casino this week. The most prestigious World Series of Poker Circuit tournament concluded on March 27, 2023.
Sixteen fortunate winners of the WSOP Circuit received a cash prize, the trophy of the WSOP Circuit event, a WSOP Gold Ring, and a great opportunity to participate in the $1 million Champion’s Tournament in the summer at Las Vegas. Turning Stone has crowned seven WSOP Circuit winners to date, giving prize money of $5.4 million, which is $1 million more compared to last year’s circuit event.
The tournament lasted 12 days and attracted 14,000 players and above from 38 states and Canada. The total amount of $1.6 million was disbursed for the championship event. Turning Stone is the only casino in the Northeast to host a WSOP circuit event nationwide. This is the second time Turning Stone has hosted World Series of Poker events, and all tournaments took place in the casino’s Events Center between March 16 and 27.
Shaun Deeb is from New York and now lives in Las Vegas. He was crowned the tournament’s Main Event Champion, winning a big amount of 275,916 dollars. The champion is a 5-time WSOP bracelet winner and 3-time World Online Poker Player of the Year. This gold ring confirms his place at the upcoming event of the Champion’s Tournament.
