The Golden Knights recently announced making Betfred its official sports betting partner. The team signed a multi-year agreement with the bookmaker for the development.
Betfred earned its regulatory license from the Nevada Gaming Commission to operate at Virgin Hotels in Vegas. Kerry Bubolz, the president of Golden Knights, expressed delight about the partnership.
According to Kerry, the partnership with Betfred is ideal since the bookmaker is also entering Las Vegas. Betfred US has been successful, and everyone is thrilled to be working with them in Nevada.
With the collaboration, Betfred can advertise on the LEG signage and the dasher board at T-Mobile Arena. In addition, the bookmaker will utilize its virtually enhanced broadcast signage as well.
As per gaming news, Knights will also feature Betfred in its home games while also promoting Betfred in email newsletters, radio broadcasts, and digital channels. This is not the first sportsbook collaboration for the Golden Knights, as the team signed a deal back in 2018.
They became the first team to do so by collaborating with William Hill. The team also signed an agreement with UpickTrade in 2021, making them the official Sports Pick Service partner. The partnership ended quickly, as many fans criticized the team.
Given Betfred’s reputation in South Africa and the UK, the partnership is not expected to end up in this manner. Operating since 2019, Betfred has accumulated operating licenses in 10 states. The bookmaker aims to launch its sportsbook at Virgin Hotels for the Super Bowl.
The facility will focus on sports betting with plans to add race betting in the future. According to Betfred officials, the bookmaker will release its official mobile app as well. Bryan Bennet, Betfred’s COO, also expressed delight about the partnership with the Golden Knights.
