Polygon Partners With POKERACES

Polygon took to Twitter to announce its partnership with POKERACES, a poker game that aims at bringing fun back to online poker. POKERACES is built on Polygon, and the partnership further strengthens its operations in the industry.

POKERACES has started minting non-fungible tokens at 10,000 units. Holders of these NFTs will gain access to an exclusive AI Hold’em race that takes only a few minutes to get to the money.

There is another way in which users can earn money that can be counted as extra. NFTs held by players can be rented out to other players while they are inactive in the gaming dashboard. This allows other players to have an NFT in their profile for a while, for which the lender earns an additional income.

The performance of a player is monitored by the proprietary algorithm that is also responsible for distributing token rewards to the members of the community.

All the NFTs have a unique poker DNA coded in their metadata. The Ace battles another poker NFTs in a race to the money, which is later taken over by the player to go for the win. POKERACES leverages two upcoming technologies, namely NFTs and AI, to bring fun back to online poker.

While the trend of online poker is yet to go out of fashion, it is indeed nice to experience innovation at a stage before online poker goes out of style altogether. As a poker game, POKERACES has done remarkably in the industry, and it is now time to take its achievements to the next level through the partnership with Polygon.

Polygon is a team of people constantly looking to contribute to a decentralized future. The network drives a developer’s decentralized applications to the finishing line without the developer having to worry about the gas, speed, and safety.

More than 19,000 decentralized applications have registered their presence on Polygon, with 130M+ unique users on board. Approximately 3 million daily transactions are recorded on the network, taking the total number of transactions to over 3.4 billion since the network’s inception.

The journey started in 2017 when MATIC was founded, a name that was later rebranded to Polygon in February 2021. Polygon started onboarding top games in June 2020 and major DeFi protocols in April 2021. June 2021 and July 2021 were crucial months as both months turned out to be game changers for the future of Polygon.

Polygon Edge and Polygon Studios made their remarkable debut during that time, making way for exciting times to come. One such instance happened in April 2022 when Polygon announced that it had gone carbon-neutral.

Polygon Avail launch happened in June-July 2021, followed by the launch of zk-STARK in November 2021. The technology is based on the scaling solution Polygon Miden. The partnership between Polygon and POKERACES brings not just fun but also curiosity about what else the community can expect to happen in the future.
