NTL announces new Las Vegas headquarters

The National Thoroughbred League (NTL) is set to redefine the sports entertainment landscape. The league has announced opening a headquarters in Las Vegas for the same.

The move has been made to leverage Las Vegas’ growing status as a sports hub. Establishing headquarters in the region will expose NTL to more opportunities surrounding partnerships. Moreover, it will pave the way for more fan engagement in Las Vegas.

Tom Ludt, the president of NTL, talked about the recent move. According to Ludt, everyone at NTL is thrilled to be relocating the headquarters to Las Vegas. The move shows a strategic decision to align the league with a community that shares the same passion for entertainment and sports.

Las Vegas delivers an extraordinary platform for NTL to excel in, with an unmatched talent pool in event management and sports wagering, added Ludt.

In November 2023, Las Vegas hosted its first F1 race. The event attracted over 300k fans, helping BetMGM receive 3x the number of bets compared to any other Formula 1 race in history.

Similarly, Oaklands Athletics (Major League Baseball) also chose Las Vegas as its new headquarters location. The Athletics’ move came after the Las Vegas Raiders moved from Oakland to Las Vegas.

NTL is not the only company placing massive emphasis on Las Vegas. BetMGM, a renowned name in the gambling and sports wagering industry, also claimed to “unlock the city” in 2024.

BetMGM executives have already highlighted the massive appeal of Las Vegas, especially when it comes to customer acquisition. The operator witnessed a significant hike in bets during the F1 race in November.

According to the betting news, Adam Greenblatt, the Chief Executive at BetMGM, also talked about the same. According to Greenblatt, recruiting a player in Las Vegas costs 27% more. However, they are also more than 130% as valuable.

Given the emphasis Las Vegas has been getting, the move by NTL seems natural, with immense potential in the future.
