London Indoor Entertainment Shuts on 16 December

Due to the rise in coronavirus at tier 3, London has closed its casinos amongst other entertainment facilities.

UK Health Secretary said that areas in Greater London along with other regions in the southern part of England would be under the strictest vigilance and restrictions from midnight and dawning of 16th of the month. This implies that people residing in the tier three areas will not be able to get together indoors. On the other hand, pubs and eateries, including restaurants, will be allowed to deliver their goods and takeaway. Bingo halls, casinos, and other sites offering indoor entertainment will have to shut down, and London has prohibited sports matches too in these areas. On the 2nd of December, the football fans were allowed to view matches, since March, for the first time in London. The Premier League, Arsenal welcomed its followers. London has prohibited these areas from opening, including South Essex and Greater London, Chelmsford and Harlow, Watford and Broxbourne, Braintree, all located downwards of Hertfordshire, as per Matt Hancock. The country had enjoyed being out in the open briefly from 15 August, and now on 16th, they are getting ready for another lockdown. The significant is a great blow to the casino industry. The casinos had taken steps to maintain the hygiene procedures to ensure complete safety of staff and customers at the beginning of the month, and now have to shut down again, said Simon Thomas, the CEO of Hippodrome.
