Las Vegas to be saturated with live poker players

Las Vegas, Nevada, will soon be saturated with live poker players for one of the most sought after poker tournaments, the upcoming World Series of Poker. The city is known to be the ultimate destination for poker enthusiasts globally. In the case of separate casinos, they have their own set of tournaments.

The one that can give the World Series of Poker a real run for its money is the Wynn Summer Classic, an event that will be played out for almost two months. This will comprise more than 100 tournaments, with options galore for participants to haul in great amounts of greenbacks.

A sum, to the tune of $37 million will be dished out while the Wynn Summer Classic is on, where in all probability, the figure may reach $40 million. There are always certain highlighting events that do the rounds, which will happen in this case too.

There will be the $10,400 No-Limit Hold’Em Summer Championship and the offer of a $10 million prize pool for the enthusiasts partaking in the Summer Championship where the seasoned players will head for.

At the Summer Championship, players can go into the act with a buy-in of only $400, whereas in other tournaments the figure reaches $1,000. Wynn’s idea is to rope in more crowds.

The World Poker Tour (WPT) will also be connected with this event, with the Alpha8 Trifecta Tournament doing a rerun.

In the case of the Alpha8 Trifecta Tournament, it will be spread out over three, two day events, with the buy-in being $25,000 for all three events. Other than cash prizes, a set will be offered for the WPT Championship in December.

The Wynn will be up against the WSOP for gathering the crowds, with room plenty for all.

Other than the top players, Wynn and WSOP, in the fray will also be more casinos in Las Vegas, such as The Golden Nugget, MGM Grand and Aria.

The Grand Poker Series’ venue will be the Golden Nugget, towards the end of May. The 2024 Summer Poker Festival will be held at the MGM Grand in May.

Aria will hold the High Roller Series in July. All in all, a packed summer time in Vegas.
