C.J. Stroud has been linked to a historic start

C.J. Stroud has been named the offensive rookie of the month for September 2023. He has achieved this feat after attaining a passer rating of 98.0. His record stands at 64.5% passes, crossing 906 yards with no interceptions and 4 touchdowns.

This has been defined as a historic moment because he is the first quarterback in league history ever to register 900 passing yards with the said TDs and interceptions in his first three career starts. He is behind Cam Newton and Justin Herbert with passing yards of 1,012 and 931, respectively. The Houston Texans are next scheduled to face the Pittsburgh Steelers on Sunday, with fans hoping that Stroud continues his momentum to equalize the win-loss ratio.

The Texans have won just a single game but have lost doubles. The Steelers have mirrored this stat by winning doubles and losing a single game. A lot of fans at various football betting sites had assumed the results of the game a bit early.

Their entry was a win in the pre-season against the Saints. Unfortunately, it all went downhill when the Ravens sought to limit them to a single digit on the scoreboard against their gigantic 25. The Texans again lost 20-31 against the Colts. Victory came their way only when they locked horns with the Jaguars. It was a 37-17 wide margin win.

The Steelers have only lost to the 49ers. The other two consecutive events were in their favor, played with the Browns and the Raiders.

All in all, NRG Stadium will host a lightning round between the Steelers and the Texans. Stroud can retain his top spot and give the team an equalizer. The Steelers, on the other hand, will simply look to shine in the fourth week.

Week 4 of 18 has started with the Lions beating the Packers 34-20 on the scoreboard. The Lions ruled throughout the game except for the third quarter, for nothing productive came out in terms of numbers. The Packers nearly caught the game, but then it descended despite keeping a two-point edge over their opponent.

The reason is that the damage was vastly done before they broke for the first half. The Lions were leading with 24 points, out of which 14 came in Q1, and the remainder was captured in Q2. The response was pretty weak, with just a 3-pointer. They had a chance to inch closer, which they did before giving up altogether.

Week 4 will next see the Jaguars and the Falcons having a meet-up at Wembley Stadium. The Falcons have, so far, won 2 and lost 1. Their opponents have a different story to tell with a single win and a double loss.

As for the Steelers and the Texans, the Steelers are at the top of the AFC North team table, while the Texans are hanging out in the second spot on the AFC South team table.
