BetMGM has announced Poker Championship with Aria Resort and Casino as the prime location. The Championship will begin on June 23, 2022, and end on June 26, 2022. For the first time, the BetMGM Poker Championship is being organized.
It will coincide with the 2022 Aria Poker Classic. The Championship is a $3,500 buy-in with no limit carrying a guarantee of $1 million. A minimum of 15 players will receive the prize package, including travel expenses, buy-in for the BetMGM Poker Championship, and a five-night stay at Aria.
Another event that will occur for the first time is a $600 buy-in BetMGM Mystery Bounty scheduled for June 25, 2022 (Saturday).
Luke Staudenmier, BetMGM Director of Poker, stated that the first-ever Poker Championship descended on Las Vegas during the most exciting times. Luke Staudenmier added that Aria was a legendary poker brand, and the company was thrilled that the Championship had become an integral part of current year’s Poker Classic.
He also said that the company would leverage event programming and connect with players through its relationship with MGM Resorts and its properties.
